In continuation of this office Advt. of even No. dt.19.04.2016, a Junior Research Fellow will also be selected purely on temporary (contract) basis on 27.04.2016 for a externally aided project as given below. Interested/eligible candidates are requested to attend the walk-in-interview at Institute of Forest Genetics & Tree Breeding, R.S. Puram, Coimbatore – 641 002 (Tamil Nadu).
Junior Research Fellow:
“Development of DUS Descriptors for Red Sanders (Pterocarpus santalinus L.f) and Indian Sandalwood (Santalum album L.) and documentation of indigenous (traditional) knowledge regarding these species” PI: Dr. Maheshwar Hegde, Scientist-E (one)
Essential: 1st Class Master Degree in Botany/Agriculture/Forestry with NET qualified. or 1st Class Master Degree in Botany/Agriculture/Forestry
Desirable: 1-2 years experience in field research related to Forest botany.
Rs.25000/- orRs.16000/- 2016-2019
Age : Upper age limit is 28 years as on 27.04.2016 (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/Women/Physically handicapped and OBC).
