Title: Nanoparticle-mediated inhibition of PRDX2 for selective killing of CHEK2- defective colorectal cancer cells by synthetic lethality
Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for engagement as Junior Research Fellow in the research project funded by DST-SERB, Government of India, under the supervision of Dr Rehan Khan, Principal Investigator, Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali. Qualification: Essential: M.Sc./ M. Tech in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Toxicology/ Nanoscience with NET/GATE qualification or post graduate degree in professional course.
Desirable: Candidate having research experience in mammalian cell culture, cancer biology and development of nanoformulation for drug delivery will be preferred.
Age limit: Must not be over 28 years as on May 5, 2016 (relaxable as per the norms/orders of Government of India).
Salary: Rs. 25000/- (consolidated) Project duration: 3 years General Terms and Conditions: The position is temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three years. The position is co-terminus with the project. Candidate selected for this position can also apply for the regular PhD program of INST provided they satisfy eligibility criteria.
