W A L K – I N – I N T E R V I E W for engaging Project Biologist on Contract The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun invites application for Walk-in-interview for engaging
Project Biologist for Project entitled “An Investigation of species occupancy patterns and niche differentiation among sympatric carnivores across varying land use and disturbance regimes in and around Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary, Arunachal Pradesh” purely on contractual basis for a period of two years. The EQ, DQ and other details of the Project Biologist is as provided below :

3 Location of Project site Arunachal Pradesh
4 Essential Qualification (EQ) Master’s degree in Zoology/ Wildlife Sciences/Ecology/ Environment Sciences/Life Sciences/Forestry with 60% aggregated marks and above from a recognized university.
5 Desirable Qualification (DQ) Working experience in field based studies, willingness to work in remote areas and hilly terrain, previous experience of working in North East India
Age Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules. 8 Emoluments Rs.16,000/- (Consolidated)

General Conditions 1. The candidate should report by 0930 hrs for scrutiny of documents on 27th April, 2016 followed by an Interview on the same day at 1100 hrs. The Institute will not provide accommodation for candidates appearing for the interview. 2. Candidates should bring the duly filled-in application with attested true copies of testimonials of educational qualifications research experience along with certificate of extracurricular activities, date of birth, mark sheets of all examinations etc. All original documents/certificates must be produced at the time of registration for necessary verification. 3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. 4.
