A walk-in-Selection including written test will be conducted for engagement of selection of Senior Research Fellow purely temporary on contractual basis for a period of one year will be held at ICAR- Directorate of Cashew Research, Puttur, D.K., 574 202, Karnataka on 13.6.2016 at 11.00 AM. Interested candidates having following qualifications and experience, may attend Directorate of Cashew Research, Darbe, Mottethadka, Puttur- 574202 on 13.6.2016.

4. Duration of the Project Till 31.3.2017 or termination of Project whichever is earlier.
5. Age limit 35 years for Men, 40 years for Women as on 13.6.2016 (Relaxation in age to SC/ST/OBC as per Govt. of India/ICAR norms)
6. Emoluments Rs. 16,000 p.m + 10% HRA without NET Rs. 25,000 p.m. +10% HRA with NET
7. Essential qualification M.Sc. (Ag.)in Agricultural Entomology or M.Sc. (Zoology) Pass with Ist class OR 60% marks or equivalent OGPA
8. Desirable Experience Research Experience and field experience in pest management, Bio-assay trails for insect behavior.
9 Location of the project Directorate of Cashew , Puttur, Karnataka (Formerly National Research Centre For Cashew), Puttur-574202, DK Karnataka
Terms & Conditions:
1. The post is of purely temporary nature and shall be filled on contractual basis. The selected candidates shall have no right / claim for regular appointment at this Directorate at any point of time, as the post is purely temporary.
2. The interested candidate may attend the Walk - in – selection along with original certificates, age proof, typed bio-data with one set of self attested copies of their certificates, passport size photograph and experience certificate, if any. Those who do not furnish original certificate will not be allowed to appear for written test
3. Candidates may register their candidature from 9.30 A.M to 10.30 AM only.
Late comers will not be entertained.
4. No TA will be paid for the journey to attend the written test.
5. No Objection certificate (NOC) from the employer is to submitted, in case the candidate is presently employed elsewhere
6. The Director’s decision will be final and binding on all aspects.

2. Working knowledge in computers and data base management.
