Position Available for Junior Research Fellowship (One)

Project : "Engineering ToLCV resistance in tomato by using single and multiple artificial micro RNAs and synthetic rep gene containing multiple mutations to resist VIGS".

Duration: The Project will continue till September, 2017. The above mentioned position is completely temporary and is co-terminus with the project. Appointed persons will be expected to stay in the laboratory for the entire period of the project.

Salary : - As per DBT rules and guidelines for JRF.

Qualifications : - Eligible candidates should have a Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology/ Agriculture and CSIR NET qualified.

Desirable Qualifications :- Candidates having research experience in the area of Plant tissue culture / transgenic plant development will be preferred.

The competent authority may select candidate in the lower position against the above posts depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate and reserves the right to relax any of the qualification(s) in case the candidate is found otherwise well qualified by the Selection Committee.
