Advertisement for Teaching Assistant Position
Division of Biological & Life Sciences, School of Arts & Sciences, Ahmedabad University, University Road, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad Gujarat 380009 invites applications from the eligible candidates for the post of Teaching Assistant.
Essential Qualification:-A consistently good academic record with a Master’s degree in Chemistry/Zoology/Botany/Life Sciences or any other equivalent science subject from recognized University/Institute. Candidates should have qualified in the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC.
Desirable:-Candidates who have been awarded the Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of qualification in the NET. 1 year Experience in teaching (on graduate level) & experience in major/minor instrument handling in the reputed Institutions/Laboratories will be desirable.
