The following positions are available under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) Project on ‘Marker assisted introgression of tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) resistance into Indian tomatoes’ at the College of Horticulture, Rajendranagar. The posts are for duration of three years temporary and can be terminated at any time.
1. Senior Research Fellow - Two (2)
Rs.28000/- per month + 30% HRA for 1st , 2nd and 3rd year
Educational qualification and Essential criteria M.Sc. (Ag)/ M.Sc. (Hort.) Molecular Biology and Plant Biotechnology/M.Sc.Biotechnology with NET in corresponding discipline and trained in molecular biology techniques
Desirable: at least one year Research experience in molecular breeding in tomato
2. Technical Assistant - One (1)
Rs.10000/- per month for 1st , 2nd and 3rd year
Educational qualification and Essential criteria M.Sc (Ag.)/M.Sc (Hort.) or M.Sc life sciences
The above emoluments shall be applicable only if the candidate (s) met Educational qualification and Essential criteria as per DST OM No.SR/S9/Z-09/2012 dated.21.10.2014
