Advertisement for JRF/SRF/RA position

Applications are invited from qualified individual for one post of JRF or SRF or RA, on Council of Scientific and industrial research (CSIR) sponsored research project dealing with development and application of Next generation sequencing based methods to study Eukaryotic gene regulation (CSIR/No.37(1621)/14/EMR-II).

Qualifications:

JRF: Rs. 12,000/-pm plus HRA: Possessing M.Sc in life sciences/Bioinformatics/Computational biology or equivalent degree with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE etc. Non NET/ Non GATE candidates need not to apply for JRF post.

SRF: Rs. 14,000/-pm plus HRA: Possessing (i) M.Sc. in life Sciences/Bioinformatics/Computational biology or equivalent and at least 2 years of post-M.Sc in research/teaching experience as evident from published papers in standard refereed journals

(ii) M.Tech in life Sciences/Bioinformatics/Computational biology

Research Associate (RA): Rs. 22,000/-pm plus HRA: Possessing PhD in life Sciences/ bioinformatics/computational biology or equivalent or 3 years of research experience after M.Tech in life Sciences/Bioinformatics/Computational biology.

Applicants should note that the appointment is purely temporary initially for one year and subjected to renewal up to the end of the project. There is no Right to Claim for any regular appointment with the University.
