Walk in interview for the post of "Research Assistant" - [01 post] at the Agricultural Microbiology Section, VSI to be held on 14th June 2016 at 11.00 a.m.

Compen- sation(per month) Rs.12,000/- per month (inclusive of all)

Starting Emolument: Rs. 1,44,000/- per annum

Job Profile: Research project on “Isolation, identification and screening of efficient strains of bioweedicide and development of its consortia as liquid state Bioweedicide for controlling weeds in sugarcane”.

Candidate Profile:

Young dynamic candidate, having Masters degree in Microbiology (M.Sc. Microbiology) having good knowledge of microbial techniques.
• Should work on laboratory scale, pot scale and field scale research on sugarcane weeds.
• Good knowledge of technical assistance in actual protocol of all R&D, laboratory and field related studies.
• Toxicological studies of Bioweedicide, statistical data analysis, preparation of Research reports etc.
• Experience in relevant field will be appreciated.

Experience:

Minimum 1 year and maximum 3 years experience in R&D in Microbiology, especially related to laboratory and field research in sugarcane, weeds, bioweedicide and toxicological studies will be appreciated.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Compensation Rs.12,000/- per month (Inclusive of All).
  • This post is purely temporary contractual basis for a period of 11 months.
  • No TA, DA will be given during this period.
