Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up one Research Associate (RA)/Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/ Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the CSIR funded scheme entitled “Screening, Isolation and Identification of Novel Antimicrobial Compounds from Potential Mangroves of Goa”.

Eligibility criteria:
For RA: PhD degree in any stream of Life Sciences with experience on working on natural compounds or microbes.
For SRF: Candidate should have at least 2 years of post M.Sc. research experience as evidence from published papers in standard refereed journals.
For JRF: Candidates having M.Sc./M.E/M.Tech. degree from recognized University in any discipline of Life Sciences with CSIR-UGC (NET) or GATE qualification.
Fellowship amount:
Total emolument for the position is Rs. 36000 per month + HRA for RA, Rs. 28000 per month for SRF and Rs. 25000 per month for JRF as per CSIR norms. Duration of the project is for 3 years and position will be coterminous with the project.
Note: Only qualified and suitable candidates will be called for personal interview to be held at BITS-Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus and no TA/DA will be paid for the interview. Selected candidate (JRF/SRF) may be encouraged to register for Ph.D. program of BITS, Pilani subject to the fulfillment of the Institute requirement.
