Walk-in-interview for Research Associate (Project) Position
Title of Project: Structural Investigation of Surface Nano Scale Assembly in Gut Bacterium.
Duration: Initially for 1 year, may be extended on annual evaluation till the duration of the project.
Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in Natural Sciences, minimum 60% marks in M.Sc or equivalent degree and below 35 years of age.
Desirable: Prior experience at the PhD level in molecular biology, biochemistry, and biophysics/structural biology with a strong motivation for a career in research is preferable. Strong PhD level training in recombinant protein cloning, expression, purification and macromolecular structure determination by x-ray crystallography would be desirable. Either/both qualifications should be substantiated by published papers.
Principal investigator: Dr. Vengadesan Krishnan, Assistant Professor. Fellowship: Rs 22000/- + 30% HRA per month (may be enhanced as per DST/DBT guidelines).
