ICAR- INDIAN AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE REGIONAL STATION, WELLINGTON – 643 231 (THE NILGIRIS)

Walk in interview for the posts of SRFs (Unreserved)

Two post of SRFs are available in the IARI, Regional Station, Wellington under DBT/ITC funded projects purely on contractual basis. The details along with interview date and venue are as under:

1. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in DBT project entitled “ Marker assisted pyramiding of APR & SR genes for durable rust resistance in wheat PI: Dr. M Sivasamy Co-PI: Dr. Vikas V.K

Rs. 25000 + 30% HRA (As per ICAR No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated13.07.2015 No. Agri.and F. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015)

Essential: Master’s degree in Genetics /Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/Relevant subjects/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015)

Desirable: Experience in use of molecular markers and proficiency in computer skills.
