NIMHANS is conducting WALK-IN-INTEVIEW on 24/06/2016 at 11.00 AM to fill up the following posts on adhoc basis for the project titled “Evaluation of efficacy of nutritional preparations and specific nutritive ingredients in the management of cognition using suitable animal models” under Dr. Laxmi T Rao, Additional Professor, Department of Neurophysiology & Principal Investigator.

Educational Qualification Ph.D in Lifesciences +2 years of Post-Doctoral Experience with good academic background
Eligibility Minimum of two years of Post-Doctoral Experience with qualification in animal handling, biochemical estimation of neurotransmitters by HPLC and in vivo brain microdialysis in rodents, histology, immunohistochemistry, stereology, and rodent behavioural evaluation
Age 40 Years
Salary 38,000/- + 30% HRA per month
Tenure of Appointment Initial appointment will be for a period of six months and same will be renewed half yearly depending upon the performance of the candidate
