Junior Research Fellow/Project Fellow in a DST-SERB Project
Applications are invited for a position of a Junior Research Fellow/Project Fellow available in the DST-SERB sponsored Research Project titled “Climate Change Adaptation Strategies for Biodiversity Conservation in Western Ghats, India” sanctioned to the undersigned.
Qualifications: The candidates holding First Class M.Sc., degree in Environmental Sciences/Ecology/Environmental Management/ with the knowledge of Biodiversity, RS GIS, Water and Soil analysis. Preference will be given for CSIR/UGC NET cleared candidates.
Also the candidate with prior working experience in the field of Biodiversity, RS GIS, Water and Soil analysis will be given preference.
Fellowship/Stipend: The amount of Fellowship/Stipend will as per the DST-SERB guidelines. (Regarding fellowship, if it is JRF 25,000/- if it is Project fellow 12,000/- + HRA).
The candidates are requested to send the CV along with the testimonials and certificates (attested copy) to the Principal Investigator by mail or by post on or before 29.07.2016. The date of interview will be informed to the candidates through mail.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
