Interested candidates with original mark-sheets and certificates may appear for walk-in interview for the position of a Project Assistant under the project “Impact Assessment of Jhuming on Native Plants and Soil Microbiota and restoration of Sustainable Jhum Agro-Ecosystem in North East India, Dept. of Biotechnology at IASST to be held on 15^th July 2016 at 10.00 am in Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Guwahati.

Candidates with B.Sc. in (Botany/Zoology/Biotechnology), knowledge of laboratory Operation, routine chemical and microbiological analysis of soil and maintenance of laboratory are encouraged to apply.

                       

Applications in prescribed form must accompany with complete Biodata and two recent passport size photographs and self-attested copies of mark sheets, certificates, contact address, e-mail and phone number should be sent to the Registrar, Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology, Paschim Boragaon, Garchuk, Guwahati – 781035, Assam.

 

Educational qualification and Experience:

B.Sc. in (Botany/Zoology/Biotechnology), knowledge of lab. operation, routine chemical and microbiological analysis of soil and maintenance of lab.

 

Pay: Rs. 8000/- (Rupees eight thousand) only p.m.

 

Age: Upper age limit is 28 years. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/Woman candidate as per Govt. rule. Applicants already in service should apply through proper channel.
