Walk-in-interview for the position of Junior Research Fellows (JRF), Project Assistants and Mali purely on contractual basis will be held on as per detail given below in the Conference Hall of IFB Main Building, Hyderabad. Interested and eligible candidates must bring the copy of bio-data along with recent passport size photograph, self attested copies of all educational certificates and relevant documents for submission to the office. No separate letter will be issued for attending the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview. Candidates are requested to report at 09.00A.M in the IFB, Conference Hall.

1 Junior Research Fellow

Productivity improvement in Petrocarpus santalinus L.f. through mass selection and selective breeding

Essential:

• First class degree in M.sc. Forestry with specialization in Tree improvement/ Genetics and tree breeding/Silviculture.

• First class degree in M.sc. Agriculture with specialization in Plant Genetics & Breeding.

3 Junior Research Fellow

Screening for establishing bioefficency of ethno insecticidal plants from the forest of Andhra Pradesh

Essential: First class degree in MSc. Biotechnology /Biochemistry / Zoology/ Entomology/Microbiology.

Desirable: Specialization in Chemistry/ Entomology/Biotechnology/ Microbiology

 Essential: First Class in B.Sc.in Botany preference to Taxonomy/Biodiversity

Desirable:

1. Experience related to field & laboratory work.

2. Basic knowledge in computers and statistics.

Tenure: Tenure will be initially for one year or up to project period whichever is earlier and may be extended as per ICFRE rules.

Age: Upper age limit is 28 years for Junior Research fellow/Project Assistant/Mali as on 01/07/2016, which is relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC.

No TA/DA will be paid for participating in written test/ interview. General Condition: Award of the fellowship is governed by the Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education rules and don't guarantee subsequent employment in any Institute under the Council.
