Walk In Interview
Applications in the given proforma are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of one Junior Research Fellow/ Senior Research Fellow in a research project entitled “Role of plants as a modifier of rumen to reduce methane production and improve productivity in small animals” under DBT funded project. This engagement is subject to terms and conditions in force in ICAR. There is no provision of absorption / reemployment in IVRI/ICAR after termination of the project. The service of the person so engaged will automatically stand terminated with completion of the project. The engagement is purely on temporary basis and liable to be terminated at anytime without assigning any reasons thereof. Interested candidates for the said position may send their application in advance in the prescribed format to Dr L. C. Chaudhary, Principal Scientist, Division of Animal Nutrition, IVRI, Izatnagar 243 122, so as to reach by August 10, 2016 and attend the walk-in-interview along with original certificates. No separate interview letter will be issued. The candidates will not be paid any TA/DA and will have to make their own arrangements for stay etc. for attending the interview.

Essential Qualification: JRF/SRF: Postgraduate in Animal Nutrition / Animal Science /Animal Husbandry / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology with either NET qualified or PhD.
Desirable Qualification: Experience of working with large ruminants and handling of computer and analytical equipments.
Remuneration: Rs. 25,000/= per month + HRA for the first two years (JRF) and Rs. 28,000/= per month + HRA for the 3rd year (SRF).
Duration of Project: Up to 8.4.2017
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on the date of interview (Age relaxation for different categories as per the Govt. of India norms.
