Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of the following position(s) under the following time bound Projects at division of Bacteriology and Mycology. The engagement(s) is / are purely on temporary and contractual basis, co-terminus with the project and will be liable for termination at any time in case of the unsatisfactory performance of the candidate. There will be no provision for absorption/re-employment in ICAR/IVRI after termination of the time bound under mentioned project (s). No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
1 Development of recombinant multiepitope peptide based diagnostic for detecting anti-HS antibodies (CRP on vaccines & diagnostics)
JRF (01)
Masters Degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Microbiology/ Immunology with NET qualification or M.V.Sc./ M.Tech in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Microbiology/ Immunology Experience in cloning, expression of recombinant proteins, ELISA.
Rs. 25000/- per month + 20% HRA 35 years for men and 40 years for women. Age relaxation in case of SC/ST/ OBC candidates is as per rule.
Till March 2017 or termination of the project, whichever is earlier.

PhD in Veterinary Bacteriology/ Veterinary Immunology/ Veterinary Microbiology/ Animal Biotechnology/ Animal Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology, OR Masters degree in above mentioned subjects (with 4 years/ 5 years bachelor’s degree) having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ other engagements.
Candidates with 3 years Bachelor’s degree should have professional Masters degree (3 years) in above mentioned subjects and at least two years of research experience or Master’s degree in above mentioned subjects along with N.E.T. qualification and at least two years of research experience.
Working knowledge in microbiology, bacterial mutants, tools such as gene cloning, expression, cell culture, handling of lab animals and analysis of data.
Publications in high impact factor journals desirable.
Rs. 38,000/- per month for Masters degree holders; Rs. 40,000/- per month for PhD degree holders. HRA as per ICAR rules. 40 years for men and 45 years for women. Age relaxation in case of SC/ST/ OBC candidates is as per rule. Till March 2017 or termination of the project, whichever is earlier.
