A walk-in-interview will be held on 26.07.2016 at 10:00 hrs. at ICAR-National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow for the following positions on contractual basis under the DBT-BBSRC project. Eligible and desirous candidates fulfilling all the requirements may appear for the interview with duly filled in application giving full details of academic records and experience(s) along with attested photocopy as well as original copy of the relevant documents and a passport size photograph on the attached proforma. The details are as follows:
Research Associate 01
Upto 18th May, 2019 or co-terminus with the project
Rs. 36,000/- +20% HRA 40 years for male and 45 years for female candidates, as on the date of interview
Essential: Ph.D. in Bioinformatics or 03 years research experience after Post Graduation in Bioinformatics with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journals.
Desirable: The candidate should have at least 1st Division during Graduation and Post Graduation.
Experience in assembly/analysis/annotation of genomic/transcriptomic data generated on next generation sequencing platforms and working knowledge on different genomic softwares.
Publications in Relevant Field
Junior Research Fellow 01
Upto 18th May, 2019 or co-terminus with the project
Rs. 25,000/-+ 20% HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 28,000/-+ 20% HRA for 3rd year 35 years for male and 40 years for female candidates, as on the date of interview
Essential: Master Degree in Biotechnology/Life Science with Specialization in Molecular Biology with NET qualification.
Desirable:
Research Experience in Molecular Biology.
1 st Division during Graduation as well as Post Graduation.

Terms & Conditions:- 1. Above position is purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project or may be terminated earlier by the competent authority without assigning any reasons. 2. Age relation will be 05 years for SC/ST & 03 years for OBC candidates. 3. Only those candidates will be allowed to appear who have all the original certificates and their photocopies. Candidates who have final mark sheets but not their provisional or original certificates, will NOT be allowed to appear for interview. 4. Place of work will be at ICAR-NBFGR, Lucknow. 5. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in Interview. 6. All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of Interview for necessary formalities. 7. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature. 8. The Director's decision will be final and binding in all respects.
