Interested eligible candidates are requested to appear before a selection committee on 6 th September, 2016 at 11 AM. in the Conference Room of the Department of Biochemistry, University of Calcutta (Ballygunge Campus), 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata: 700019 for recruitment of Three Manpower (1 JRF), (1 Research Associate) and (1 Technical Assistant) in DBT-BSRC project entitled “India-UK Nitrogen Fixation Centre (IUNFC)” (SAN.NO.- BT/IN/UK-VNC/41/DLN/2015-16 DT 19.07.2016) under Dr. Maitrayee DasGupta. Tenure of the project is up to July, 2019.
Qualification required:
1. M.Sc. 1 st class in any discipline in life sciences from any recognized board/University with valid GATE/ NET for JRF.
2. B.Sc. in Science preferably/with general laboratory experience for Technical Assistant.
3. Thesis submitted for Research Associate.
Upper age limit is 28 years for JRF, 40 years for Research Associate and 30 years for Technical Assistant on 1 st September, 2016 with 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/Female candidates.
Fellowship: JRF- Rs 25,000 p.m. + 30% HRA RA - Rs 28,000 p.m.+ 30% HRA (Thesis submitted) Rs 36,000 p.m. + 30% HRA (PhD awarded)
Technical Assistant- Rs 12,000 p.m.
Candidates are requested to bring two sets of complete applications furnishing Bio-data on plain paper attached with self-attested copy of testimonials and all the originals of the testimonials at the time of interview.
