Applications are invited for Research Fellow (1 post) to work in the area of ‘Western Ghats and coastal biodiversity’ under the UGC Special Assistance Programme DRS phase-II at Department of Applied Zoology, Mangalore University.

Qualification: M.Sc. from a recognized university, in Applied Zoology, Zoology, Bioscience or Life Sciences with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% in case of SC/ST candidates) below the age of 40 years are eligible.

NET/JRF test qualified will get preference.

Fellowship: Rs 16,000 per month.

Eligible candidates may send applications on plain paper with bio-data along with copies of relevant marks cards and documents in support of qualifications and eligibility, to Dr K. Bhasker Shenoy, Co-ordinator, SAP, Department of Applied Zoology, Mangalore University, Mangaluru 574 199, Karnataka on or before 20 September 2016.

The candidates will not be paid TA/DA for attending the interview.
