Society for Biocontrol Advancement (SBA) Award Announcement 2016

The Society for Biocontrol Advancement (SBA) operating from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research–National Bureau of Agricultural Insect Resources (ICARNBAIR), Bengaluru, has instituted the following five awards: 

SBA – Dr S. P. Singh Memorial Award for Lifetime Achievement in Biological Control

SBA – Dr S. Sithanantham Award for Outstanding Impact of Biocontrol R&D 

SBA – Dr M. Swamiappan Award for Outstanding Contribution to Biosystematics of Biocontrol Agents 

SBA – Dr T. M. Manjunath Award for Outstanding Contribution to Biological Control and Allied Sciences 

SBA – Dr T. M. Manjunath Young Scientist Award for Excellent Contribution to Biological Control Research

Applications are invited from eligible researchers for all the above awards.

The deadline for submission of applications is 30 September 2016.

The awards will be given away during the Fifth National Conference on Biological Control: Integrating Recent Advances in Pest and Disease Management, 9–11 February 2017, Bengaluru
