Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the posts of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – 1 post for the TANUVAS –ICAR - NIANP network Scheme on “Estimation of methane emission under different feeding systems and development of mitigation strategies” functioning at the Department of Animal Nutrition, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai – 600 007.
Senior Research Fellow (1 post)
a. Essential Qualification : Masters degree in Animal Nutrition/Animal Husbandry/Biotechnology/Biochemistry
b. Desirable Qualification : 6 months working Experience in a reputed laboratory and capable of handling analytical equipments and working with livestock
c. Remuneration : Rs 16000/- per month + Allowance as in force
d. Age Limit : Maximum of 30 years for men and 35 years for women as on till date (upper age limit relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST and 3 years in case of OBC candidates). Interested candidates for the above said positions may attend the walk in interview with filled in application in the prescribed format along with photocopies of relevant certificates to “The Professor and Head, Department of Animal Nutrition, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai – 600 007” on 23.08.2016, 11.00 AM. The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the written test followed by interview, work experience, etc.
