Interested and eligible candidates may appear for the post of JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW/JUNIOR PROJECT FELLOW under the research project titled “Studies on the moth fauna of Pachmarhi Biosphere Reserve - an assessment of the species richness, relative abundance and distribution as environmental indicators” funded by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change at Central Zone Regional Centre, Zoological Survey of India, Vijay Nagar, Jabalpur - 482 002, Madhya Pradesh.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/ *Junior Project Fellow(JPF) 2

Master’s Degree in Zoology/Life Sciences with Zoology as a major subject in undergraduate/post graduate with a minimum of 60% aggregate mark from a recognized University and UGC/CSIR NET qualified (NET -JRF)

Research experience in field data collections in insects (moths), Taxonomy and Ecology. Basic knowledge in computer and application of GIS (added advantage)

Rs.25,000/- + HRA @20% (*) Rs.16000/-+ HRA@20%

^ Desirable qualifications are only indicative in nature. In case of exceptional candidates, these may be relaxed.

# UGC/CSIR NET JRF/GATE qualified candidates would be awarded fellowship in line with DST norms, while otherwise competent/ suitable candidates would be provided fellowship as JPF (non-NET) mentioned above(*).

Duration : Initially one year, may be extended for further period(s) based on satisfactory performance of individual.
