Faculty Training & Motivation of Students 2016-17
The main objective of this scheme is to promote interest, excitement and excellence in science education at the school and undergraduate level by taking up training and motivational programme for science teachers to upgrade their knowledge-base in new and emerging areas of science and to provide the opportunities for interaction and exchange of ideas with scientific community of CSIR Labs/Institutes.
The scheme also aims at raising the standard of science education and learning capabilities of students in selective schools and colleges in the neighbourhood of CSIR Labs/Institutes by promoting the interaction of science students with CSIR Labs and nurturing a cadre of the most brilliant and gifted youths to take up science as a career
