NEHU Botany/Ecology JRF Walk In 2016 September

A Walk-in-interview for the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, New Delhi sponsored Research Project entitled “Traditional Knowledge System-Network Programme on Convergence of Traditional Knowledge Systems for Sustainable Development in the Indian Himalayan Region” will be conducted in the office of the Head, Department of Botany, NorthEastern Hill University, Shillong- 793 022, Meghalaya on 16th September, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). The details are given below:

Number of post : One (1)

Remuneration : Rs. 25,000/- per month (for candidates with NET/GATE/ Rs. 12,000/- per month (as per DST notification) + HRA

Duration : 3 years (The appointment is co-terminus with the project)

Essential qualifications : Post-Graduate on Botany/Ecology/Social Work Eligible candidates willing to undertake extensive field work in north-eastern states only need to apply.

Candidates must report to the undersigned between 2:00–2:30 p.m. failing which their candidature will not be considered. The candidates need to submit a complete set of bio-data along with one copy of testimonials to the interview board. The original certificates will be verified before the commencement of the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
