NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (NBRC) requires a

Data Analyst-1 (Project)

The primary scientific interest of the lab is to identify early in vivo biomarkers for neurodegenerative disorders, particularly Alzheimer’s disease. The lab uses multi-modal neuroimaging techniques, i.e. magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), functional MRI (fMRI), and magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) to investigate the associated structural, functional, and neurochemical brain alterations, respectively. Interested candidates fulfilling the following requirement can appear for the walk-in-interview at 11:00 A.M. on 31st October, 2016 at National Bran Research Centre Manaser, Nainwal Mode, Gurgaon, (Haryana).

Candidates are requested to report at 10:30 A.M. for verification of documents. Candidates reports later time will not be included in the interview process.

Essential Qualifications 

o Master of Science.

o Only candidates with atleast 06 months of work experience in the field of Neuroimaging will be interviewed, subject to fulfilling all other criteria.

o Knowledge and skills with at least one statistical package is a must. o 60% marks from Matriculation onwards.

Desirable qualification 

o Prior hands-on experience with fMRI and MRS is particularly welcome.

o Demonstrated research and scientific writing aptitude as evidenced by peer-reviewed publication* in relevant fields in indexed journal(s).

(*Not including conference abstracts, poster presentations, etc.).

o Excellent scientific communication and writing skills. Experience with writing scientific manuscripts is mandatory
