Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India has granted Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow a project to establish the ‘DST-Centre for Policy Research’ with particular focus on inclusive growth using Science, Technology and Innovation (STI). The Centre has initiated evidencebased and action-oriented research work in various thematic areas, particularly water, health and agriculture which could benefi t people lacking access to technology and resources. Applications are invited for the following contractual posts, renewable yearly or up to the duration of the project based upon satisfactory performance:
1. Research Scientist (STI Policy Research) - 2
PhD in Biological/Physical/Engineering Sciences/ Economics/Statistics/Mathematics/ Development Studies with minimum 5 years of experience from a recognized reputed university. OR, M. Tech / M.E. with minimum 8 years of experience from a recognized university.
Strong analytical abilities in quantitative data analysis and writing skills in Policy Research, evidence of high-quality published work in the areas of agriculture/ health/water.
Rs. 85,000/- (consolidated)
2. Post-doctoral Fellow (STI Policy Research)
PhD in Biological/Physical/Engineering Sciences/ Economics/Statistics/Mathematics/ Development Studies with experience of policy research. Evidence of high-quality published work in the areas of agriculture/ health/water.
Experience with quantitative data analysis and strong writing skills necessary.
Rs. 45,000/- + 20% HRA
