Consolidated Salary: Rs. 14,400 per month (as sanctioned by funding agency)
2. Project title: Regulation of endothelial cells dysfunction by Erk-5 in metabolic disorder
Principle investigator: Dr. Umesh C. S. Yadav
Project duration: 3 Years
Funding agency: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), DST, Govt. of India
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 25,000 per month (as sanctioned by funding agency)
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Biological Sciences with minimum of 55% marks, must qualified UGC-CSIR NET/SLET, at least two years of work experience in the relevant area of foam cell (for position
1) and endothelial cell biology (for position
2), respectively, hands on experience with foam cells (for position 1) and endothelial cells (for position 2) model is a must, respectively.
Desired:
(a) Experience in handling of and experimentation with mammalian cell culture, especially macrophages, monocytes, and primary human endothelial cells.
(b) Sound knowledge about cell signaling in the atherosclerosis.
