Essential: M.Sc.in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Genetics & Plant breeding/any branch of life science with 4 years/5 years of Bachelors degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years master’s degree should have NET qualification.

Desirable: Experience in linux, R. Perl/Phython, bioinformatics and next generation sequence data handling.

2. Introgression of begomovirus resistance genes in tomato using MAS and genomics approaches Dr. H.C. Prasanna, P.I. of the scheme.

Desirable: Experience in plant breeding or plant pathology.

3. DST entitled ‘Agroinfectious clones development for probing resistance to chilli leaf curl diseases caused by begomoviruses’ Dr. K. Nagendran, P.I. of the scheme.

Essential : M.Sc. (Agriculture) Plant Pathology/Agricultural Biotechnology OR M.Sc. (Biotechnology) with practical work experience in Plant Virology, Plant Biotechnology or Molecular Biology with 4 years/5 years of Bachelors degree.

Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years master’s degree should have NET qualification.

Desirable: Working experience in Plant Virology.

4. CRP in Hybrid Technology (Tomato) Dr. N. Rai, P.I. of the scheme

Senior Research Fellow 01 (one)

Essential: M.Sc. (Agriculture)/Horticulture/Genetics Plant Breeding/Vegetable Science/Plant Physiology with 4 years/5 years of Bachelors degree.

Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years master’s degree should have NET qualification.

Desirable: Working Experience in on biotic/abiotic stresses tolerance in tomato.

Essential: B.Sc. (Ag.) Working experience related to subject in vegetable entomology.

Essential: Graduate in any subject. Diploma in computer application (DCA) with good speed of typing in Hindi and English. Working experience in relevant field.
