RECRUITMENT FOR TECHNICAL POSITIONS
1. Technical Assistant One Position
Graduate in Life Sciences or equivalent with minimum 1 year’ experience in research laboratory Or Standard 12 with minimum 4 years’ experience in research laboratory
Desirable:
Basic techniques in molecular biology (genomic and plasmid DNA isolation, gel electrophoresis, polymerase chain reaction, ELISA, Western blotting, spectrophotometry, column chromatography)
Maintenance of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells
Techniques in analytical chemistry (i.e. GC/HPLC/UV-Vis/TGA/DSC)
Microscopy (optical/fluorescence/ electron microscopy)
MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop and other commonly used web-based bioinformatics tools.
Perform electrophoresis
Maintain bacterial and mamalian cells in flask and/ or bioreactor
Maintain and run high-end equipments like FPLC, Ultracentrifuge, Zetasizer, Nanplotter, etc.
Contribute in OMICS data analysis
2. Lab Technician (Diagnostics) One Position
Graduate in Life Sciences or equivalent Or Standard 12 with minimum 3 years’ experience in research laboratory
Desirable:
Basic techniques in molecular biology (genomic and plasmid DNA isolation, gel electrophoresis, polymerase chain reaction, ELISA, spectrophotometry, column chromatography)
Maintenance of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells
Techniques in analytical chemistry including GC/HPLC/UV-Vis/TGA/DSC
Microscopy (optical/ fluorescence/ electron)
Work in area of mammalian & microbial cell culture
Basic molecular biology work including DNA-RNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis etc.
Preparation of all kinds of buffers
Routine maintenance of lab equipment’s
Walk-in written test/skill test - 1 st December 2016
