Animal Breeding Specialist (On contract basis)
Bihar State Milk Co-operative Federation Ltd. (Comfed), the apex body of dairy Co-operatives in the State of Bihar is providing breed improvement service to the milch animal owners through about 3400 Artificial Insemination centres and a major expansion plan of AI delivery service is underway with the assistance of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries Department, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Govt. Of India. Comfed invites applications from eligible persons for recruitment as Animal Breeding Specialist on contract basis for a period of one year which may be extended.
The Job responsibility includes large scale expansion of AI delivery system, its successful running, adequate management, implementation and monitoring. The prescribed qualification, experience etc. are indicated as below:
Rs.80,000/- (Negotiable)
Minimum 20 years in managing A.I delivery system* Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science from recognised university.
Post graduate qualification in Veterinary Science shall be preferred
*Weightage would be given to candidates worked in Govt./ PSU/Semi Govt/Co-operative Sector.
