DST project "Development of functional markers linked to fragrance in indigenous aromatic rice landraces" (B.H. 318/18128)
Discipline: Biotechnology/Plant Biotechnology with NET or Plant Breeding and Genetics with NET and one year of experience in molecular breeding/genomics
Qualification: Ph. D. or Masters degree in above discipline and NET conducted by ICAR/CSIR
Emoluments: As per DST guidelines
Age limit: 35 years for men and 40 years for women
Job profile: The nature of job includes development of mapping population, collecting data at Tanchha, Navsari and other locations, marker data generation, genomic analyses of quality traits in rice
Preference: Experience in molecular breeding, transgenics and well versed with genomic data analysis tools
Nature of fellowship: It is full time basis.
Candidate has to submit application in prescribed format along with copies of relevant certificate at the time of interview.
The candidate has to produce his/her original certificates at the time of interview for verification.
The candidate will have to remain present at Office of Director of Research and Dean P.G. Studies, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari – 396450 (Gujarat) on 25-01-2017 at 09.00 a.m.
