Educational Qualifications: M.Sc. in any area of Life Sciences with good academic record. The candidate should have qualified any ‘National Level Examination’ (NET).
Emoluments: The selected candidates may be placed in any of the below categories depending upon qualification & experience. Rs. 25,000/- per month plus 30% HRA (as per funding agency norms)
Job description & Desired Knowledge: The selected candidate is expected to carry out research using C. elegans as a model system and perform experiments using Next Generation sequencing technology.
• Hands-on experience in molecular biology (cloning, RNA isolation, quantitative realtime PCR, western blotting) is required.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in Next Generation sequencing library preparation and C. elegans genetics will be preferred.
