Appointments of Dean, Head of Department and Faculty
Having undergone the initial selection of the five Faculties, SRM University, AP – Amaravati is now following a strategy for sequential hiring which will allow the university to begin operating in a limited capacity as further infrastructure and staff are incorporated systematically and in parallel.
While the search for the inaugural senior management team is underway, SRM University, AP – Amaravati are looking to appoint multiple Heads of Departments within the Faculties of Engineering, Science, Humanities and Liberal Arts, and Management.
The University will also be focusing its efforts in hiring world leading academic staff (to include Lecturers, Senior Lecturers, Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, and Professors) within the disciplines of Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering in order to quickly build a critical mass.
Following this, SRM University, AP – Amaravati will be searching for the remaining Heads of Department and subsequent academic staff.
It is anticipated that over the next ten years the University will have over 30,000 students and 2,000 staff capable of fostering research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
