Applications are invited for Junior Research Fellow [02 posts] at the Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering Section Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering Post : Junior Research Fellow No. of Post(s) : 02 Compensation: Consolidated contractual salary of Rs.12,000/- per month (inclusive of all)

Job Profile : For Post 1: Candidate should have experience in plant physiological and biochemical analysis, binary vector construction, Plant transformation, Expression and protein interaction studies by sqRT-PCR/RT-PCR and yeast two-hybrid systems. Molecular Biology/ Life sciences. For Post 2: Candidate should have to work for development of transgenic sugarcane through genetic transformation. Candidate will have to work right from collection of material, callus development, vector construction, plasmid isolation, transformation and molecular analysis. Qualifications & Experience: M. Sc. in Biotechnology/ Botany/ Biochemistry/ Agril. Biotechnology from any reputed University. Freshers are eligible to apply. However, preference will be given to those having experience/ project work done in relevant area supported by thesis/ research publications.
