Project Title: “BIOSYSTEMATICS OF MAYFLIES (EPHEMEROPTERA) OF INDIA”

Project: Appointment will be initially for a period of one year and extendable based on performance and project funding.
Position: Project Fellow
Place of Posting: ZSI SRC, Chennai or any other place as per requirement of the project
Essential Qualification: MSc. in Zoology/Life Sciences/ Wildlife Biology or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
Desirable: Experience of working in entomology, Ephemeroptera, aquatic insects, Biosystematics and a passion to undertake extensive field work throughout India.
Knowledge of more than one Indian language especially Hindi; Computer and basic data analysis; microscopy; field photography etc.,
Experience in the Bioinformatics/ DNA Barcoding / Molecular phylogeny with at least one publication in SCI journal.
Fellowship: Rs.18,000/- P.M. (Consolidated)
