Walk-in-Interview will be held on March 14, 2017 at 12:30 P.M. in the Seminar Room, Main Campus,
Bose Institute, 93/1, Acharya Prafulla Chandra Road, Kolkata 700 009 for the following posts in the
WWF sponsored project entitled, “Study to understand the pollination ecology as well as the applicability of
placing apiary boxes in the forested areas of the Sundarbans” under the guidance of Prof. Swati Gupta
Bhattacharya, Division of Plant Biology.
The project is tenable upto 20th December 2017 (project may
be renewed upto December 2019 by mutual consent of both the parties subject to renewal of fund from
funding agency and permission from the Forest Directorate).
Details of qualification, pay, age etc. are as follows :
Project Scientist : (one post)
• Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in Botany and Thesis submitted or Awarded.
• Consolidated Pay : Rs. 30,000/- p.m.
• Age : Below 35 years as on the day on which the application is made.
(relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates only as per rules)
Field Assistant : (two posts)
Essential Qualification : B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Life Science / Environmental Science / Marine Science.
• Consolidated Pay : Rs. 15,000/- p.m.
• Age : Below 30 years as on the day on which the application is made.
(relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates only as per rules)
Eligible and Interested candidates may appear before the Selection Committee with a typed application
addressed to the Sr. Prof. & In-Charge, Registrar’s Office, Bose Institute, 93/1, Acharya Prafulla
Chandra Road, Kolkata 700 009 along with Bio-data giving details of qualification i.e. examination
passed, year, division, percentage of marks from Secondary onwards with attested copies of Certificates,
Mark-sheets and testimonials.
The Candidates should also bring original mark-sheets, certificates,
testimonials etc. at the time of Interview. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing at the Interview.
