Project entitled “Understanding
the mechanism of polyunsaturated fatty acid accumulation in chia (Salvia hispanica)
seeds”(GAP-0507) funded by SERB, New Delhi
Essential Qualifications:
First class M.Sc./ M. Tech. in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Life Sciences or
equivalent degree with good academic records.
Desirable, if any: Experience in lipid metabolism, protein purification, enzymatic assays and
molecular biology.
Emoluments:
Rs.16,000/- per month (Rupees Sixteen Thousand only) consolidated.
