Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
(i) One position of Senior Research Fellow against DBT funded project entitled “Towards establishing on
efficient animal based production of therapeutic proteins in milk of formed animals using various modes
of gene delivery”,
PI: Dr. Subeer S. Majumdar, Director
Fellowship amount: Rs.28000/-PM+30% HRA = 36,400/- PM as per the DST guidelines.
Essential qualification: M.Sc Life Sciences with Net
Experience: Minimum 2 years of research experience
Age: 35 years
(ii) One position of Research Associate against SERB funded project entitled “Elucidation of mechanism(s)
of transformation of host cells by Theileria annulata”,
PI: Dr. Anand Srivastava
Fellowship amount: Rs.36000/-PM+30% HRA = 46,800/- PM as per the DST guidelines.
Essential qualification: PhD in Life Sciences (incl. Veterinary Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry,
Microbiology, etc.).
Project requires knowledge of yeast two hybrid and cell culture. Candidates with
experience in infectious diseases, microbiology and molecular biology will be preferred.
Age: 35 years
(iii) One position of Project Fellow against anticipated NMPB funded project entitled “Evaluation of
medicinal plant extracts for anti-tick activity and identification of active compound(s)“, PI: Dr. Anand
Srivastava
Fellowship amount: Rs.16000/-PM+30% HRA = 20,800/- PM as per the DST guidelines.
Essential qualification: M.Sc Life Sciences (incl. Veterinary Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry,
Microbiology, etc.).
Project requires knowledge of HPLC and soxlation.
Candidates with experience in
infectious diseases, microbiology and molecular biology will be preferred.
Age: 30 years
(iv) One position of Lab Technician against anticipated NMPB funded project entitled “Evaluation of
medicinal plant extracts for anti-tick activity and identification of active compound(s)“,
PI: Dr. Anand
Srivastava
Fellowship amount: Rs.10000/-PM+30% HRA = 13,000/- PM as per the DST guidelines.
Essential qualification: B.Sc. Life Sciences (incl. Veterinary Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry,
Microbiology, etc.).
Project requires field work.
Age: 30 years
