Walk-in Interview

Applications are invited for purely project based positions (Field Supervisor/Senior Fellow-01 and Field Assistant-01) in a project sponsored by the National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB), Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi.

Essential and Minimum Qualifications:-

1. Field Supervisor/ Senior Fellow: - M.Sc. in Life Sciences/Bio-Sciences or equivalent with good academic record and minimum three years of working R&D experience. Preference will be given to candidates having Ph.D. degree in mentioned subject. Candidates who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and not yet awarded their degree may also be considered. 

2. Field Assistant: - Preference will be given to candidates having experience in establishment and maintenance of medicinal and aromatic plants nurseries, assistance in farmer’s trainings/ meetings and, any extra technical qualification.

Desirable qualifications: Experience in plant propagation and analysis techniques, particularly medicinal and aromatic plants, willing to undertake extensive travel in Himalayan region for germplasm collection, field level studies and organizing farmer’s trainings programmes/ meetings related to the project objectives.

Emoluments: The maximum monthly emoluments will be Rs. 30000 fixed for Field Supervisor/Senior Fellow and Rs. 10000 fixed for Filed Assistant or will be fixed as per qualification and working experience of the candidates in MAPs sector at the time of interview.

Age Limit: Field Supervisor/Senior Fellow: 18-40 years; Garden/ Field Assistant: 18-40 years, relaxation for SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC as per Govt. norms.

Period of project: The period of project is three years from the date of execution and the selection for the post does not confer any right of regular appointment in the Centre.
