Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India
invites applications for the position in DBT sponsored project entitled “Global profiling
and significance of alternative splicing events regulated by polypyrimidine tract
binding protein 2 (PTBP2) in the advanced stages of chronic myeloid leukemia”
Name of the position : Laboratory Technician (02 Nos)
Eligibility and Selection: Candidates having B.Sc. or above in Biotechnology/Zoology/ Microbiology/Physiology/Life Sciences and have worked in biology research labs (handling blood samples/mice/PCR/DNA gel/Protein Gel/Cell culture) are encouraged to apply.
Emoluments: Rs. 18000/- per month (consolidated) without HRA
Upper age limit: 28 years
The interested/eligible candidates may download application form our website www.ils.res.in and apply with attested copies of bachelors degree mark sheet and certificate, age proof, caste certificate (if any), along with the experience certificate to Director, Institute of Life Sciences, Nalco Square, Bhubaneswar – 751 023, India, Mark your envelope with the project title and the position name. Incomplete applications and applications without the above mentioned documents will be rejected.
Selected candidate will not have any right to claim explicit or implicit for any post in Institute of Life Sciences. The initial appointment will be made for one year which is extendable year to year basis after satisfactory performance for a maximum period of four years or the termination of the project. Only names of short listed candidates will be published in the Institute website and separate call letter will not be issued. No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview. The decision of the Director regarding selection of the candidates will be final and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
