Walk in interview

Eligible candidates may appear in Walk-in-interview for the post of Senior Research Fellow in ICAR-NASF funded projects as follows:

Identification and molecular tagging of gene(s) controlling resistance to chilli leaf curl virus infection in chilli (Capsicum annuum L.)

Senior Research Fellow (1 position)

Rs. 25,000 + 30% HRA 

Essential- Ph.D./M.Sc. (Biology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences/allied sciences) with 4 years of Bachelor's degree. 

Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualification (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015). 

Master's degree holders with integrated degrees like B.Tech. & M.Tech. (5 years) are also eligible. May 2017

Desirable- Hands-on of experience in the area of Plant Molecular Biology. Experience preferably in gene cloning, genomics and bioinformatics.

Characterization, mapping and transcriptome analysis of seed protein, β-carotene and mineral contents in chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.)

Senior Research Fellow (2 positions)

Rs. 25,000 + 30% HRA

Essential- Ph.D./M.Sc. (Biology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences/allied sciences) with 4 years of Bachelor's degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualification (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Agri. The interview will be held on 9th May 2017, at 10:30 AM at NRCPB, LBS Building, IARI (Pusa Campus), New Delhi-110012. Candidates should report for interview latest by 11 AM at NRC on Plant Biotechnology.
