Bose Institute, Kolkata, invites application from the Indian Citizens for one temporary position of
Junior Research Assistant in the DBT(Govt. of W.B.) sponsored project entitled “Genome wide
transcriptome analysis to identity MYMIV-stress related genomic resources of blackgram” under the joint
supervision of Prof. Amita Pal, UGC-Emeritus Scientist (P.I) and Dr. Pallob Kundu (Co-P.I.), Division of
Plant Biology. The project is tenable upto 30.08.2019.
Details of qualification, consolidated pay, age etc. are
as follows:
Junior Research Assistant
• Essential Qualification : Good academic records throughout the career. B.Sc. and M.Sc. either in
Botany, Life Sciences, Biotechnology or Biological Sciences.
Must have good practical hand, this
should be certified by two Senior/reputed PG teachers on a scale of 10.
Preference will be given to those who already have some research experience (for at least 2 months)
• Consolidated pay : Rs. 16,400/- p.m.
• Age : Below 28 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates only as per rules).
