Advertisement for the Post of JRF/Data Entry Operator/Field Assistant (Walk-In-Interview)


(A) Applications are invited for the following post of JRF in a research project entitled “Identification of Quantitative Trait Loci and Underlying Candidate Genes for Seed Dormancy and Pre-harvest Sprouting Tolerance in Common Wheat” funded by a DST-SERB, Govt. of India. 


Name of Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)


Number of Positions: One (01)

Duration of the Project: Three (03) years

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA 5000/- (for first two years) and Rs. 28,000/- + HRA 5600/- (in third year)

Minimum Qualification: M.Sc./M.Sc. (Ag.)/M.Phil with 60% marks in the area of Plant Sciences, preferably Genetics and Plant Breeding/Plant Biotechnology. NET qualified candidates having experience in the area of molecular markers and QTL analysis will be preferred.

Duration of the project is five (05) years and appointment will be purely on temporary basis.
