Applications are invited for the position of PROJECT FELLOW (02-Nos) at
the Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar (an autonomous Institute of
the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology,
Government of India) for a two years research project on “Documentation of
Traditional Knowledge associated with Sustainable utilization of
Bioresources”.
Candidates should have a Master’s degree with relevant exposure in biology,
biotechnology and life sciences and should have good witting skills in English,
good communication skills in Odia and willing to travel extensively.
The
selected fellows will be provided with a fixed emolument of Rs. 25,000/- per
month.
Duly filled-up application along with self-attested copies of all relevant certificates and demand draft should be send to the Director, Institute of Life Sciences, Nalco Square, Bhubaneswar-751023. All application should reach the Institute on or before the last date.

The envelope
should be super scribed with “Application for Project Fellow”. Short-listed
candidates selected for the interview will be published in the Institute website
(www.ils.res.in).
Application Fees: Applicants except SC/ST candidates are required to send a
non-refundable D.D. for Rs.500/- in favour of “Director, Institute of Life
Sciences, Bhubaneswar” payable at Bhubaneswar along with duly filled-in
application form by the date mentioned below. Director, ILS reserves the right
to withdraw the procedure without assigning any reasons thereof.

Date of display of short-listed candidates and instructions in the
Institute website: 22nd May, 2017.
Date of interview: First week of June (Exact date will be mentioned at
the time of display of shortlisted candidates).
