Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, an autonomous institution under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India and a Deemed to be University invites applications from motivated, eligible and highly qualified Indian nationals to serve as In charge – Instrumentation Facility in the Molecular Biology and Genetics Unit of the Centre. 

The responsibility of the position include, maintenance of the instrumentation facility housed in the Unit, assist the scientific community in the usage of the facilities, liaison with the maintenance contract agencies, as also, carry out other responsibilities assigned from time-to-time. 

Qualification(s) and experience: B.E./B.Tech in any discipline from a recognized University with one year experience in operation, handling and maintenance of sophisticated instruments in a R&D set up or in an industry. 

Age: Below 30 years as on 1.05.2017 Tenure: Selected candidate will be initially assigned a contract for a period of one year and based on the performance, the contract will be reviewed for renewal. 

Compensation: Approximately Rs.19,500/- p.m.
