Advertisement for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - (1)

Applications are invited for a post in a DST-SERB-funded Project entitled: "Characterization of transcriptional dynamics during male and female reproductive organ development in Sorghum'' at School of Computational & Integrative Sciences, JNU. The selected candidate will be appointed purely on temporary basis, initially for one year which may be extended till the validity of the project based on assessment of the candidate's performance and discretion of the Competent Authority

Position: Senior Research Fellow (1)

Essential Qualifications & Experience: Candidate must have M.Sc. or M.Tech. degree (with minimum 60% marks) in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Genetics or any related field with hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques.

Desirable: Basic knowledge in the field of molecular biology with hands on experience in yeast two-hybrid screening/yeast one-hybrid assay is desirable. Candidates with NET/CSIR would be given preference.

Appointment will be purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. The eligible candidates may further be shortlisted based on qualifications/experience depending on the number of applications received.
