NTRF Genomics RA Walk IN | NTRF Recruits @ helpBIOTECH

National Tea Research Foundation (NTRF) a registered body jointly set up by Tea Board, Tea Industry and NABARD and recognized by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) requires qualified and experienced researcher for contractual appointment as per details below : 

1 Title of the Project Tea Genome Sequencing 

2 Name of the Post Research Associate, NTRF, Kolkata 

3 No. of Vacancies One 

4 Duration Initially for 1 year and annually renewable upto completion of the project. 

Eligibility Criteria : 

a) Academic Essential 

 Ph. D. in Bioinformatics / Computer Science/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology / Plant Breeding and Genetics with experience in handling next generation sequencing data as evident by high quality research publications in peer reviewed journals. 

Desirable 

 Post Doctoral experiences in Genome Sequencing, assembly and annotation works with high quality research publications in peer reviewed journals. 

5 b) Job Experience Capable to work independently in genome assembly and annotation projects. 

6 Age limit Within 45 years 

7 Proposed Emoluments :  Rs.52,000/- p.m. including HRA @ 30% p.m. 

8 Other Entitlements  In the exigency of the NTRF’s work, if the candidate is deputed on official tour for outstation, candidate will be entitled for necessary facilities as applicable to the officials of NTRF.  Entitlement of Casual Leave as per norms of NTRF. 

Note :  Upper age limit may be relaxed for the candidate having exceptionally good research experience and publication.
