Applications are invited from highly motivated individuals for a JRF position in a project entitled “ Understanding the regulation of mitochondrial bioenergetics by the immune adaptor protein SARM1 and its role in neurodegeneration ” in the laboratory of Dr. Piyali Mukherjee at Presidency University, Kolkata.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate must have good academic record with first class Master's Degree in any branch of Life Science and have qualified NET JRF (CSIR/UGC).
Candidates with interest in neurobiology or experience of working in Drosophila models will be preferred.
SELECTION PROCESS: Only those fulfilling the above criteria need apply and will be called for interview. The date of the interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates.
No TA/ DA will be given for appearing in the interview.
FELLOWSHIP/SALARY As per CSIR/UGC regulation for NET qualified fellows.
